In The Moment Policies

Please allow 24 hours notice for all cancellations. Late cancellation or failure to arrive for an appointment will result in a fee equal to half of the cost of the service. Cancelling due to illness is always exempt from this policy.

Masks are currently optional, although your therapist may continue to wear one. We are also happy to wear one upon request if we're not already doing so. If you feel at all unwell on the day of your appointment, simply send me an email or text and we will reschedule you with no cancellation fee. This includes cold- and flu-like symptoms, or any new rash. Thank you for helping to keep the office healthy! 

If you arrive late for your scheduled appointment, we will honor the remainder of your scheduled appointment time.  If you choose to reschedule, you will be assessed the 50% cancellation fee.

Gift Certificates must be presented at time of service.  We are unable to honor lost gift certificates. Receipts or cancelled checks or charge card statements cannot be honored in lieu of lost gift certificates. Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash. If your gift certificate has expired, the cash value (purchase price) will be applied to the current charge for service rendered.

Pre-paid massage packages massages cannot be shared and are not transferable. These packages are discounted to make regular massage more affordable for each individual client.

$35 NSF fee will be charged for all returned checks.

Tipping is never expected but always appreciated. Tipping allows us to provide reduced cost services for people experiencing financial hardship because everyone should have access to care. In addition, a portion of tips go to support our work with the  Path of Freedom program in the Allegheny County Jail.
